This study analyzes the language style in Mahmoud Darwish’s poem "أدثل ال أو لِ أدث "using Syihabuddin Qalyubi’s stylistic theory. The background lies in the richness of Arabic modern poetry and Darwish’s unique expression of love, identity, and struggle. The purpose is to identify how language features on five stylistic levels phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, and imagery shape the emotional and symbolic depth of the poem. A descriptive qualitative method was applied through close reading and data classification. The findings reveal that Darwish’s stylistic choices convey intense inner conflict, emotional ambiguity, and symbolic resistance. Sound patterns build tension (phonological), continuous verb forms express ongoing emotion (morphological), parallel and contradictory structures highlight internal turmoil (syntactic), symbolic expressions show alienation (semantic), and vivid imagery reflects emotional complexity (imagery). The poem presents love not as a simple feeling, but as an existential state shaped by memory, loss, and desire. Darwish blends poetic beauty with emotional depth, making the poem both personally intimate and socially reflective.Downloads
