Publication Ethics

ICOLL follows the guidelines and core practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Duties of Authors:

  • Ensure that the work submitted is entirely original and free from fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
  • Properly acknowledge and cite all sources, data, and foundational literature.
  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.

2. Plagiarism Screening Policy:

Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. Every submitted manuscript is screened using Turnitin plagiarism software before undergoing peer review. The maximum tolerated similarity index is 20% (with exclusions for quotes and bibliography).
