Washl and Fashal in Qasidah Burdah by Imam al-Busiri on the Miracles of the Quran (الوصل والفصل في قصيدة البردة للإمام عبد الله محمد بن سعيد البوصيري عن معجزات القرآن)

Abstract

In this discussion, the author discusses Washl and Fashal to find out how the use and function of washal and fashal in qasidah burdah. This study uses a qualitative method of literature study. The purpose of this study is to describe and find out: 1) What are the types of washal and fashal in qasidah burdah by Imam Bushiri. 2) What is the function of using washal and fashal in qasidah burdah by Imam Bushiri. The primary data source used is the qasidah burdah book by Imam al-Bushiri. The secondary data sources used are books and journals related to the topic of this research. The results show: there are 2 types of washal and 3 types of fashal (kamalul ittishal, kamalul inqhita', syibh kamalul ittishal). There are 2 functions of washal and 4 functions of fashal.
